Tramadol pain killer cuases acne, possible?

i recently started taking tramadol and aorund a the same noticed a large increase of on my upper (of my face). is it possible that this prescription is causing the acne or is the acne just from on and off poor dieting of eating . im just wondering what the is that a can cause acne. I know affecrt everyone differntly but am i just being paranoid? i go crazy when i get acne, usually have very few .

    No — tramadol can cause a rash (due to allergic reaction) in some people, but not acne. Acne is caused by bacteria, not pain-killers, and there has been no studied association between any pain-killers and any increase in acne. Acne is also typically not affected by diet (although some recent studies have indicated that a high glycemic diet — high in starches and carbohydrates — could contribute to, but not cause, acne). Your increase in acne is likely just mere coincidence. Neither food nor painkillers cause acne.

    Actualy yes, some of the side effects is related to the skin, so it is not at all impossible!

    Edit: I mean that the side effects can be taken for acne
